BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF RED- LANDS: WHEREAS, on tate 7th day of Au- gust. 1961, the City Council of the City of Redlands did pass kind adopt Resolution No. 21 N giving notice of the proposal to annex certain nein- habited territory to the City of Red- lands, said territory being therein designated as "Annexation No. It," said resolution describing the bottnd--- aries of the territory- proposed to be annexed: and WHEREAS. said Resolution Pio. 2137 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Coun- cil of the City would hear protests mt,de by any person owning property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing be- ing not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of pas- sage of said Resolution; and WHEREAS, on the 19th day of Sep- tember 19til at tate hour of 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Redlands. County of San Bernardino. State of Califor- nia, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2147 for hearing of protests to the gain annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass e' upon all protests made to the pro- posed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of tate value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assess- ment roit, nor by public and private owners of one-half of the value of the territory propo.=ed to he aftnexed as deter-nincA by said lekislztive body; and WHEREAS. said territory i con- tiguous to the City of Redlands. and is uninhabited territory in the Coun- ty of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE. the said City Council of the Cita- of Redlands does berehy approve the annexation of the territur; hereinafter described to the City of Redlands, and does hereby further ordain that the ,said territory It e and is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands. That said territory, the annexation • of which to the City of Redlands is hereto approved, is all that territory situated in the County of San Ber- nardino.
