AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION
DISTRICT NO, 32 " TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS :
WHEREAS , on the 5th day of December, 1967, the City Council of the
City of Redlands did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2643 , giving notice
of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of
Redlands, said territory being therein designated as "Annexation No.
32 , ', said resolution describing the boundaries of the territory pro-
posed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS , said Resolution No. 2643 did contain a notice of the day,
hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear pro-
tepts made by any person owning property within the territory proposed
to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than twenty nor
more than sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS , on the 16th day of January, 1968, at the hour of 7: 00
P.M. , in the Council Chambers in the Safety Building of the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, said time and
place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2643
for hearing of protests to the said annexation, the said City Council
did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation
and did resolve and determine that protests had not been made by the
owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed
as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and pri-
vate owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be
annexed as determined by said legislative body; and
WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands,
and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the City of Redlands
does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter des-
cribed to the City of Redlands, and does hereby further ordain that
the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redlands .
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Redlands is herein approved, is all that territory situated in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California, more particularly des-
cribed as follows:

ANNEXATION NO. 32
All that portion of lots 1 and 2, Block 68, being a portion of
Rancho San Bernardino as shown on map recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page
2 thereof, records of San Bernardino County, State of California, and
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Mill Street 82 . 5 feet
wide and west line of the southeast quarter of Section 8 Township 1
South, Range 3 West San Bernardino Base and Meridian. Thence souther-
ly along the southerly extension of said west line to the south line
of Mill Street. Thence westerly along the south line of Mill Street
to its intersection with the west line of 82 . 5 feet wide California
Street, thence northerly along the west line of California Street ex-
tended to its intersection with the centerline of Mill Street, thence
along the centerline of Mill Street to its intersection with the cen-
terline of California Street, said point being on the southerly ex-
tension of the centerline of Victoria Avenue vacated. Thence norther-
ly along the centerline of said Victoria Avenue 800 feet more or less
to a point on the centerline of Victoria Avenue vacated, said point
being on the southerly corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino.
Thence northeasterly along a line of the said southerly limits to a
point on the west line of the southeast quarter of said Section 8,
said point being on the present westerly corporate limits of the City
of Redlands and 1830 feet more or less northerly, measured at right
angles, from the centerline of Mill Street . Thence southerly along
the said west lane of the southeast quarter of Section 8 to its inter-
section with the centerline of Mill Street and the point of beginning.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance,
and shall cause: same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts,
the newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its
passage as provided by law.

the City of Redlands at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th
day of February, 1968, by the following vote:
