HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2676_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2676 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 18.156 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ARCHITECTURAL TREATMENT FOR SERVICE STATIONS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 18.156.190(H) of the Redlands Municipal Code is hereby deleted in its entirety and rewritten to read as follows: "H. Architectural Treatment: It is the policy of the City to require a higher than typical quality of architectural treatment for service stations. Applicants are encouraged to submit designs which are in keeping with the overall character and quality of the neighborhood and community. The architectural treatment of each station will be reviewed carefully and approved only when the appearance of the station is considered suitable to the City. Customer pump areas shall be roofed." Section 2: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. Section 3: The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
