HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_0884_CCv0001.pdf NO. if"i '� AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT ALL CITY TAXES BE PAID, OR A SURETY BOND FURVIS M FOR THE PAYI,ITENT THE'.EQF, BEFORE ANY SUBDIVISION IS APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows: Section 1. That the City Council shall not approve any subdivision until all delinquent and current city real estate taxes on the land to be subdivided have been paid in full. That in the event that any— current city taxes are a lien against the property, but have not been determined and are not yet payable, then the person, or persons , making the subdivision shall furnish a surety bond in favor of the City of Redlands for twice the amount of the taxes on such property for the previous year, in- order to insure payment of such taxes upon their determination. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage as provided by lave. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts , the newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
