The z;oard of Tristees of the City of E'edlands do
ordain -as f ollows: -
Section 1: - It shall be unlawful for any person to
use any part of the streets 1,-Rveniles I alleys or other public
g*rounds in the City of Redlands for the storage or placing
of building materialsprovided that 'whenever a buildinf,_- is in
course of erection and construction the siiperinteadesnt of
streets of said city may is.stze a perriit to X= the owner of
such buildinF or the contractor thereof permitting the use of
the gtreets,aveniif-,5,a1i.eysior public F-,round,5and sidewalks imcumtkix
immedi,3.tely oppozite, the property upon which said building is
bei-nf7 erected.but in no ease zhall more than tine-third of any
such public ground5A be so obstructed;
and in streets conhaininp street car tracke,such occupation
shall aot come within four feet of such track; provided that
whenever any building is being erected i2-,ulediately ,,,djoini"F
any sidewalk,the superintendeiit of streets may req-tire the
person to whom such *permit is issuck
