AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 22 , SECTION 2223
OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE, HOTELS, APARTMENT HOUSES OR LIVING
UNIT RENTALS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section One : That Section 2223 of the Redlands Ordinance Code be
amended to read as follows :
SECTION 2223 MOTELS, APARTMENT HOUSES OR LIVING UNIT RENTALS.
Every person , firm or corporation conducting, managing or
maintaining a hotel, apartment house or an activity of renting
living quarters of any nature consisting of four (4) or more
rental units whether or not all of the units are located on the
same lot or parcel of property, not otherwise provided for in
Chapters 21 and 22, shall pay a license tax based on the gross
business receipts of the previous calendar year as set forth in
the schedule of fees in Article 221 above .
Section Two : This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
on the first day of July 1965.
Section Three : The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in this City.
