AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
CHAPTER 5. 04 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS as follows:
SECTION 1 . Section 5 . 04 . 215 is hereby added to the
Redlands Municipal Code to read as follows:
"5. 04 . 215 Issuance - Payment of Parking and Business
Improvement Area Assessments .
Every person required to possess a license
under the provisions of this Chapter and Chapter
5. 08 who conducts business within a Parking and
Business Improvement Area within the City shall
pay, as a condition to the issuance or renewal of
a business license, any Parking and Business
Improvement Area charges which have been assessed
upon, and are due and owed by, that person. "
SECTION 2 . The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and it, or a summary of it , shall
be published once, in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City and thereafter, this ordinance
shall take effect as provided for by law.

certify that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of
February, 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers DeMirjyn, Johnson, Cunningham;
Mayor Beswick
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN : Councilmember Wormser
