The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows: Section One: That Ordinance No . 895 , adopted May 31st, 1946, and entitled as above set forth, is hereby amended by adding a new Section thereto to be entitled Section 61A and to read as follows: Section 61A. For every person, firm or corporation, who shall conduct, manage or carry on the business of police patrol, police protection or merchant patrol, the license for such business shall be 9"300.00 per annum. Further that no license shall be issued untiVa permit to carry on such business has been first obtained from the City Council, which permit shall be subject to such rules and regulations as the said Council shall deem necessary. Section Two: This ordinance shall become effective as provided for by law. Section Three: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose. ayor of the City of Re ands.
