AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 AND CHAPTER 22 OF THE REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE,
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows,
SECTION ONE. That the following sections of the Redlands Ordinance
Code be amended as follows:
Sec. 21.55. DELINQUENCY: PENALTY. All renewal licenses shall be
delinquent if not paid on or before the last day of the month next succeeding
%the expiration of the license. A ten percent (10%) penalty shall be added to
J delinquent licenses unless otherwise provided. If still unpaid, additional
penalties of 10% shall be added on the first day of each succeeding month,
provided that the amount of such penalties shall not exceed fifty percent (50%)
of the license tax due.
Sec. 2242.3. PLUMBING, PLASTERING, MASONRY, ETC, For every person,
firm or corporation conducting, managing or carrying on the business of plumbing,
plumbing and heating combined, lathing or plastering, drywall or drywall and
painting combined, cement, concrete, masonry or brick work, cesspool or septi.o
tank construction, paving, surveying, sewer work, swimming pool construction,
sand-blasting, or similar construction activity, bidding or submitting a bid
for any of the same, License :$25,00 semiannually.
Sec, 2249. JANITORIAL SERVICES. Every person, firm or corporation
conducting, managing or carrying on the business of window washing, commercial
janitorial services, building or house renovating not otherwise provided, shall
pay a license tax of $12.00 semiannually,
SECTION TWO. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect
on the first day of January 1963.
SECTION THREE. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
