AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 22
OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE, BUSINESS LICENSE RATES, AND ORDINANCE
NO. 1004.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No. 1004 and sections of Article 224
of the Redlands Ordinance Code be amended to read as follows :
Sec . 2242. 1 BUILDER: LARGE OPERATION. For every person,
firm, or corporation conducting, managing, or carrying on the
business of constructing, repairing, altering, or adding to any
houses , buildings , or structures , or maintaining the general
supervision of the construction of any houses, buildings, or
structures, or is licensed by the State of California as a gen-
eral contractor or general engineering contractor, License
$50.00 semi-annually.
Sec. 2242. 11 Delete.
Sec. 2242. 12 Delete.
Sec. 2242.4 ROOFING, SHEET METAL, FURNACE, VENTILATING,
ETC. For every person, firm, or corporation conducting, managing,
or carrying on the business of installing furnaces , sheet metal
work, roofing, siding, heating or air conditioning, steam fittings
or boilers , evaporative coolers , or similar construction activity,
bidding, or submitting a bid for any of the same, License $25.00
semi-annually.
Sec. 2242 . 5 SUNDRY CONSTRUCTION WORK. For every person,
firm, or corporation conducting, managing, or carrying on any of
the businesses enumerated in Section 2242. 51, bidding, or sub-
mitting a bid for any of the sante, License $25.00 semi-annually.
Sec. 2242. 6 OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORK. For every person, firm,
or corporation conducting, managing, or carrying on any other line
of construction business not herein mentioned, bidding, or submit-
ting a bid therefor, not otherwise licensed, License $25.00 semi-
annually.
SECTION TWO : This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.

SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in this city.
