AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
CHAPTER 5.76 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE REGULATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. Section 5.76.070 of the Redlands Municipal Code relating to the
annual fee payable by cable television franchisees is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"5.76.070 Annual Fee.
A. The grantee of any franchise shall pay annually to the City during the
life of the franchise a sum equal to five (5%) percent of the gross annual receipts of
the grantee derived from subscriptions and users within the City, and in addition
thereto, such other sums as may be provided for in grantee's franchise. Such
payments shall be made to the City Treasurer."
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify
to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published
once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City; and thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance
with law.

the 3rd day of May 1994.
