AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL
CODE PERTAINING TO THE DUTIES OF THE PARRS COMMISSION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE: Section 2.32 .050 of the Redlands Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read:
"2 .32 .050 DUTIES
The Parks Commission shall recommend to the Council
policies for the acquisition , development, improvement,
and operation of parks, citrus groves , and open space,
and for the planting, care and removal of trees and
shrubs in all parks, parkways, citrus groves, open
space, and streets. The Commission shall also recommend
policy to encourage preservation of citrus and open space.
The Commission shall have regular meeting dates and shall
keep records of all of its acts and proceedings. "
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and shall cause it to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Redlands.
