AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
PERTAINING TO THE
RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as
follows :
SECTION ONE. Section 1 .40 .040 of the Redlands Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2 . 40 .040 Organization
The Commission shall elect a chairperson for the term of
one year and such other officers as the Commission may deem
advisable. The chairperson shall preside at all meetings and
shall be eligible to vote on all matters coming before the
Commission . The chairperson shall prepare meeting agendas
with the Community Services Director or his/her designee and
perform other related duties as required. The Community
Services Director or his/her designee shall serve as staff of
the Commission.
Except as otherwise provided in this Code, or by the laws
of this state, the Commission shall provide for its own
organization, shall adopt rules and regulations for the
transaction of business before it, and shall designated the
time and place for its regular monthly meeting . The
Commission may use the Community Center located at 111 West
Lugonia Avenue, in the City, as the place for its regular
monthly meeting. "
SECTION TWO. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause it to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the City of Redlands .

Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of
February, 1989, by the following vote:
