AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REDLANDS TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO , 10'75
OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE: That Section 671 . 5 (a) of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance
as adopted by Ordinance No . 1075, is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 671. 5 TRAFFIC COMMISSION- ITS POWERS AND DUTIES.
(a) There is hereby established a traffic commission to
serve without compensation, consisting of the Chief of
Police , the Chief of the Traffic Division, a member of the
City Council, one representative from the City Engineer' s
office and such number of other city officers and repre-
sentatives of unofficial bodies as may be determined and
appointed by the City Council. The chairman of the com-
mission shall be appointed by the City Council . Each mem-
ber of the commission shall have the power to vote in ac-
tions taken by it .
SECTION TWO : Each provision of this ordinance shall be separate and
severable and in the event any specific provision is declared void or
invalid no other section, otherwise legal and valid, shall be effected
thereby.
SECTION THREE: All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in force and effect as provided
by law.
SECTION FIVE- The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Red-
lands Daily Facts , a daily newspaper designated for that purpose.
