An Ordinance amending Section one of Ordinance No. 240 , Refining the Fire
Limits, Regulating the Character, the Removal? Repairing and Raising of
Ruildings therein
Regulating and Resticting the Keeping Of' Certain Ma-
terials , Explosives, Oils, Fluids, and Other Inflammable Matter therein,
and Fixing the Penalty for any Violation Thereof.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Redlands do ordain as follows !
Section Section one of Ordinance No. 240 passed Aug, 3, 1898, enti—
tled. ; An Ordinance defining the fire limits, regulating the character,
the removal, repairing' and raising of buildings, therein; regulating and
restricting the keeping Of certain materials, explosives, Oils, fluids,
and other inf.1.a.mmable matter therein, and fixing the penalty for any vio-
lation thereof. is hereby amended so as to read as follows :
Section I . The fire limits Of the City of Redlands shall be . and
the same are hereby established and defined as follows to-wit .
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the present right of
way of the Sout;-,ern California Railway Company with the center line of
Sixth street in said City, thence south along the center line Of said
Sixth street to the center of the alley betiieen East Citrus avenue and
Vine street in said City; thence west along the center line Of said alley
to a point due south of t�)e center line of said Fifth street ; thence due
south to the,center line Of said Vine street ; tXg"A

Vine street to the intersection with the center line Of Fourth street ;
thence Northerly and North along the center line of said Fourth street to
its intersection with the center line of the alley extending East and
West through ?'locks A and -P, of Orange 1,31rove addition to the town of Red-
lands according to map thereof of records in the Office of the county Re-
corder of San Berdardino County State of California, thence West along
the center line Of said alley to a point in line with the dividing line
between lots 12 and 13 of said Block B of said Orange Grove Addition;
thence North to and Tong said dividing line between said lots 12 and 13
Block B to the South line of West Citrus Avenue in line with the center .
thence Fast along said North line of said right of way to the place of
begi'nning.
Section 2. The City Clerk shat certify to the passage of this ordinance
and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts,a
newspaper printed and published in the City of Redlands , and this ordi-
nance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
due publication.
