AN i' E JINANCE OF THE CITY OF RZ-11LANDS, AMENDING THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE
CODE BY ADDING SECTION 5710 .1, REPEALING SECTIONS 5711 .2, 5711 .3 , AND

5711 .4; AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 5711 .2 .
The City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Article 573 of Chapter 57 shall be hereby
am-ended to read as follows:
Sec. 5710 .1 . EXCEPTIONS -- No license shall be required for
any dog before the dog reaches the age of six months, provided that a
license may be purchased earlier if desired.
Sec. 5711.2 . EXPIRATION DATE OF, LICENSES -- Each official li-
cense tag shall be dated to show the date of expiration of the license
and shall be securely fastened to a dog collar by the owner or person
having custody or possession of the dog . Said collar must at all times,
when not on the private property of the owner or custodian, be worn by
such licensed dog.
SECTION TWO: The following sections are hereby repealed:
Sec . 5711 .2, Sec. 5711 .3, and See. 5711.4.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in force and take
effect thirty days after its passage and approval .
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall, cause the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the
City of Redlands.
