x; An E1,1GENCY WATER REGULATION AND ORDINANCE.
1�lhereas there is now existing a critical water shortage within i
4 the City of Redlands endangering the health and welfare of its I
X11 residences and residents and creating a serious. fire hazard,
NOW THEREFORE The City Council of the City of Redlands does
6t1 ordain and order that there sAall not be any domestic irrigation j
I from the City Water System for lawns , ornamental trees: shrubbery '
7I� flowers or other foilia�;e or domestic gardens at any brae e:ccept
between the hours of 7 Ot clock P.I.I. and 9 OtCl.ock P.ii. effective j
8 ;1 immediately and until further order of this City Council, and
9 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND DECLAIM that this regulation and �
Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency order and
10 i ordinance for the immediate preservatioi7 of the public welfare,
health and safety of the residents of this Vity and shall take
11 I of-'ect :immediately upon its- passage and publication.
It ; s Further Ordered that any person, firm or corporation vic�lating
12 thi:s re_, ).?.ation and ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
13 ; mif ens ;�;r and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fire
of ;hto t to exceed Twenty-Five Dollars or by imprisonment in the �
