AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
EXPENDITURE LIMITATIONS FOR MEASURE "O" - OPEN SPACE AND
PARK LAND ACQUISITION FUND - AND REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 2010
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. This section sets forth the maximum allocated amounts in terms of
percentage relative to the acquisition of lands as stated in the language of Measure "O" - Open
Space and Park Land Acquisition. The percentages are as follows:
Land for Open Space at Major Entrances to the City . . . . . . 9.01
Citrus Preservation . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22.0%
Preservation of Large Natural Areas . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 15.2%
A Strip Park with Related Trails
Following the Zanja . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12.0%
Land For Expanded Park and Recreation Spaces . . . . . . . . . 27.3%
Land For a Sports Complex, Golf Course, and
A Swim Complex . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 14.0%
cin 2. Strategic Planning/Open Space Committee, a recognized committee of the
City of Redlands Parks Commission, shall review and make recommendations on all land
acquisitions to the Parks Commission and City Council of the City of Redlands.
&ction 3. Recommendations for land acquisition to the City Council shall be in
conformance with Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 4. Ordinance No. 2010 is hereby repealed.
Section 5. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the

Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this
ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
