AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING CHAPTERS 3 . 54 , 3 . 56, 3 . 58 AND
3 . 60 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO STREET IMPROVEMENT, STORM
DRAIN FACILITY, TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION
AND PUBLIC FACILITY FEES
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands as follows:
Section 1. Section 3 . 54 . 060 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
113 . 54 . 060 Payment.
The street improvement fees established by this Chapter
shall be paid by the applicant for a development project as
a condition of, and at the time of issuance of, any building
permit for the project. "
Section 2 . Section 3 . 56. 060 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
113 . 56. 060 Payment.
The storm drain facilities fees established by this
Chapter shall be paid by the applicant for a development
project as a condition of, and at the time of issuance of,
any building permit for the project . "
Section 3 . Section 3 . 58 . 060 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

113 . 58 . 060 Payment.
The traffic signalization fees established by this
Chapter shall be paid by the applicant for a development
project as a condition of, and at the time of issuance of,
any building permit for the project. "
Section 4 . Section 3 . 60 . 050 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
113 . 60. 050 Payment.
The public facility fees established by this Chapter
shall be paid by the applicant for a development project as
a condition of, and at the time of issuance of, any building
permit for the project. "
Section 5. Section 3 . 54 . 045 is hereby added to the
Redlands Municipal Code to read as follows:
113 . 56 . 045 Credit for Construction of Improvements.
The amount of street improvement fees required to be
paid by an applicant for a development project shall be
reduced by the cost of any street improvements identified in
the City' s Program Report for Development Impact Fees for
Master Street Improvements which are required to be
constructed by the applicant as a condition of the City' s
approval of the development project. The applicant shall be
responsible for providing to the City data, satisfactory to
the City ' s Public Works Director, substantiating the

applicant's costs for constructing such street improvements.
The determination of the fee credit allowed by this section
shall be made by the City's Public Works Director. "
Section 6. Section 3. 56. 045 is hereby added to the
Redlands Municipal Code to read as follows:
113 . 56. 045 Credit for Construction of Improvements.
The amount of storm drain facility fees required to be
paid by an applicant for a development project shall be
reduced by the cost of any storm drain facilities identified
in the City's Program Report for Development Impact Fees for
Local Master Drainage Improvements which are required to be
constructed by the applicant as a condition of the City's
approval of the development project. The applicant shall be
responsible for providing to the City data, satisfactory to
the City's Public Works Director, substantiating the
applicant's costs for constructing such storm drain
facilities. The determination of the fee credit allowed by
this section shall be made by the City's Public Works
Director. "
Section 7 . Section 3 .58. 045 is hereby added to the
Redlands Municipal Code to read as follows:

113 .58. 045 Credit for Construction of Improvements.
The amount of traffic signalization fees required to be
paid by an applicant for a development project shall be

reduced by the cost of any traffic signals identified in the
City's Program Report for Development Impact fees for Local
Signalization Improvements which are required to be
installed by the applicant as a condition of the City's
approval of the development project. The applicant shall be
responsible for providing to the City data, satisfactory to
the City's Public Works Director, substantiating the
applicant' s costs for installing such traffic signals. The
determination of the fee credit allowed by this section
shall be made by the City's Public Works Director. ,,
Section 8. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the
City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and
shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within
the City, and thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in
accordance with law.
