AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Tn REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE9 DIVISION 39 CHAPTER 30, ARTICLE 302,
SECTION 3023.2 AND DIVISION 69 CHAPTER 66, ARTICLE 661, Section 6615,
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows-.
SECTION ONE.- That Division 3. Chapter 30, Article 302,9 Section 3023.2 of
the Redlands Ordinance Code shall be amended as follows-.
Section 302302. FEES, Every person, firm or corporation applying for a
permit or for renewal of a permit previously revoked or for renewal of an
expired permit under the provisions of this code shall, at the time of
making the application, pay an inspection fee in accordance with the
following schedule: '
Type of Business Inspection Fee
Public Eating Establishments $ 20.00 per year
Food Handling 10.00
Food Markets
(including Grocery., Vegetable
and Meat Markets) 1.0.00 per year
Each additional department, add 5.00 per year
(Public eating places in conjunction
with markets shall not be included
in Food Market Permit)
Itinerant Food Concessions 5.00 per concession
(Fairs, Circuses and Traveling per location
Shows)
Cesspool - Septic Tank Trucks 25.00 per year
Public Swimming Pools 25000 per year
(as defined in California
Swimming Pool Act)
EXCEPT that the fee for swimming
pools when operated in conjunction
with any other type business
requiring a permit under this
Section shall be $10.00 per year,
Only one permit shall be issued which
shall include the public swimming
pool. When more than one pool
is operated on the same premises,,
the inspection fee shall be $10.00
per year for each additional pool,
Pools operated by recreation districts,
public schools and other public
districts - EXEMPT.
Children's camps and boarding schools 10.00 per year
Riding Academies and Stables 5.00 per year
Auto Trailer Camps 2.00 per year
per trailer unit
A fifty per cent penalty shall be added to each of the foregoing for
failure to make application for yearly renewal within 30 days from the
date of expiration or for failure to apply for a permit in the case of
a new business or seasonal operation before opening for business.
The foregoing fees shall be paid to the City Treasurer, who shall deposit
said fees to the credit of the General Fund,
In the case of a new business requiring a permit under this Section, fees
shall be pro-rated on a quarterly basis for the remaining part of the
permit year, No fee shall be reduced or pro-rated to less than $5900,
SECTION TWO: That Division 6, Chapter 66,, Article 661, Section 6615 of
the Redlands Ordinance Code be amended to read as follows2
Section 6615. TERM OF PERMIT. A permit may be granted at any time during
the year but all permits granted hereunder shall expire on the 31st day of
December of the year in -which the same became effective.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force after
its passage as provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts,
a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Redlands.

Council of the City of Redlands at a regular meeting thereof held on the IZ day
of 1959, by the following vote:
