AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS ORDI-
NANCE CODE FOR THE PURPOSE OF UPDATING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE
ZONES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS, AND RESCINDING ORDINANCES NO. 1218
AND NO . 1297
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION ONE. That the Redlands Ordinance Code be amended and
updated by deleting Article 424 of Chapter 42, Fire Code, and
adding Article 846, Fire Zones, to Chapter 84, Uniform Codes,
reading as follows :

ARTICLE 846
Fire Zones
§ 84600. The entire City of Redlands is hereby declared
to be and is hereby established a Fire District and said Fire
District shall be known and designated as Fire Zones No. 2 and
No. 3, and shall include such territory or portions of said city
as outlined below. (1551)
§ 84601. Fire Zone No. 2. Fire Zone No. 2 shall in-
clude all commercial districts as shown on the City of Redlands
Zoning Map and defined in Zoning Ordinance No. 1000, as amended,
including the C-1, C-2, C-M and A-P Districts.
§ 84602. Fire Zone No. 3 . Fire Zone No. 3 shall in-
clude all of the area within the corporate limits of the City of
Redlands excepting Fire Zone No. 2 . (1551)

SECTION TWO. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law,
SECTION THREE. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub-
lished in the City of Redlands.
