ORDINANCE NO. 1716
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE, CHAPTER 14, FISCAL MATTERS, AND ORDINANCE
NO. 1269
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE: That Section 14302 , Chapter 14 of the Redlands
Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows :
§ 14302 . HANDLING CHARGE . A handling charge in an
amount equal to the current amount charged by banks for
"Not Sufficient Funds" checks shall immediately become due
and payable to the city for each negotiable instrument
returned unpaid to the city. Such handling charge to be
credited to the General Fund.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in the City of Redlands .
