HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2025_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1995 RELATING TO FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby ordain: SECTION ONE: That Section 47303 , Paragraph A, of Ordinance No. 1995 is hereby amended to read as follows: "A. Permit Review. 1. Review all development permits to determine that the permit requirements of this ordinance have been satisfied. 2. All other State and Federal permits have been obtained. 3 . The site is reasonably safe from flooding. 4. Require until a regulatory floodway is designed, that no new construction, substantial improvements, or other development (including fill) shall be permitted within Zones Al-30 and AE on the community's FIRM, unless it is demonstrated that the cumulative effect of the proposed development, when combined with all other existing and anticipated development, will not increase the water surface elevation of the base flood more than one foot at any point within the community. " SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
