Any Oerson violating any of the

section shall be deemed guilty of a. misdemeanor wnd upon
oonviction shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding
three hundred dollars or by impriso:�.nent in the city or
oounty jail ( as may be determined by the Judge proiteunai,ng
j sentenee) for not more. than ninety days, or by both such fine
