AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 58
TO THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed
Amendment No. 58 to the Redlands General Plan and adopted such plan in R.P.C. Resolution
No. 837, after holding a public hearing upon such notice in accordance with the Government
Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of.Tune, 1995, the City Council held a duly-noticed public
hearing concerned with the proposed specific plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the adoption of
an amendment to the General Plan have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Amendment No. 58 to the General Plan of the City of Redlands
establishing a very low density residential land use designation shall be adopted to read as
follows:
AMENDMENT NO. 58 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
The Very Low Density residential land use designation will allow 0.4 to 2.7
units per gross acre on slopes under fifteen (15) percent, 0.4 units per gross acre
(one unit per 2.5 acres) on slopes of fifteen (15) to thirty (30) percent and 0.2
units per gross acre (one unit per five acres) on slopes of thirty (30) percent or
greater.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance an(''
cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in this City.
