AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING TITLE 19 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL
CODE IN FURTHER IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAND
USE INITIATIVES MODERATING GROWTH TO PRESERVE
REDLANDS ' UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT AND CHARACTER
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Chapter 19 of the
Redlands Municipal Code establishing a point system to evaluate
new residential development on a competitive basis in order to
implement Proposition R, Measure B, Measure C and Measure N; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to adjust the
timing of the allocations to be made under that point system.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as
follows :
SECTION 1 . Section 19 . 16 . 030 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read:
"19 . 16. 030 Filing and allocation award dates .
A. Except as provided in this section , one hundred
development allocations shall be awarded per quarter on
the following schedule :

July 15 September 15 117
October 15 December 30 All remaining
available units
This schedule is subject to change by Council
resolution to delay or delete a quarter ' s allocations
in order to revise all or portions of Chapter 19 or to
take account of building permits pulled by vested rights
projects .
B. Prior to the closing date, plans and written
material submitted as part of an application are not
open for public review; however after the closing
date has passed, all ma- :vial that has been submitted
as part of an application is open for public review. "
SECTION 2 . This Ordinance shall be in force and take
effect as provided by law .
SECTION 3 . The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause it to be published once
in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of Redlands .
