Ordinance No. 848 of the City of Redlands, entitled "An Ordinance Adopting and Prescribing a Health Code For the City of Redlands" is hereby eto sections 68A, 68B .68c 68D 68E68G 68H 68F 681 6sj, ) 1 $ ' � , 63T� , �7"e- , 6 6 by adding thereto Secrionz regulating the slaughter of poultry, to read as follows: C� THE 3LAUGHTLAIN�; OF RABBITS: Section 68A. It shall be unlawful to operate a rabbit slaughtering establishment without an unrevoked permitt issued by the Health Department of the City of Redlands in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. A rabbit slaughtering establishment as used in this ordinance is a place of establishment where rabbits are slaughtered for sale to distributors , peddlers public eating places, retain or wholesale markets , or for sale �y a market or stand operated in connection with a rabbit slaughtering establishment. Section 68B. Each slaughter house killing rabbits to which a permit has been issued by the Health Department shall be furnished with an inspection number issued by the Health Department, Section 68C, Each establishment slaughtering rabbits shall supply itself with an oval stamp or stamps, which bears the number issued by the Health Department, along with the lettering "S .B.CU.H .D." Said lettering shall be along the inside margin of, and the number in the center of said oval. Said oval shall be not less than one-half inch in width, and not less than three-fourths inch in length. An approved purple nontoxic vegetable coloring shall be used for identi*iW, rabbits sold within the City. Section 68D. No rabbit slaughtering establishment located within the City of Redlands , shall sell, give away, or barter any slaughtered rabbit unless it bears the stamp of identication issued by the Health Department of the City of Redlands, or the County of San Bernardino. Section 68E Every establishment slaughtering rabbits in the City shall legibly stamp each rqbbit with theidentification number issued by the Health Department prior to the release from such establishment such identification stamp shall be placed on the dorsal aspect of the thorax posterior to the cervical vertebrae. Section 68F No public eating place , peddler, distributor, or wholesale or retail market , including a market operated in connection with a rabbit slaughtering establishment shall sell, give away, barter or possess any slau,htered rabbit which does not bear the identification stamp issued pursuant to this ordinance , or the identification stamp issued by the meat inspection department of another governmental agency. Section 68G No person having an identification number issued by the Health Department for use for the stamping of rabbits shall use such identification stamp on any rabbit other than those slaughtered in the establishment to which the stamp was issued. Each day at the termination of business , the identification stamp shall be located in a secure place by the owner or operator of the slaughter house , and shall be so maintained until the onset of business the next workin,, day. Section 68K All refuse , offal and other waste material shall be disposed of in metal containers arra shall be tightly covered at all times when stoned or placed for collection. All containers rust, be washed after being emptied and must be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. THE SLAUGHTEHING OF POULTRY. Section 68N. Section 680 Each establishment slaughtering poultry to which car a permit t has been issedy by the Health Department shall be furnished with an inspection number issued by the Health Department. All such tags shall be so made as to break at the 1-tinged edge °T hen removed. No poultry slaughtering establishment located within the City of Redlands, shall sell, give away or barter any slaughtered poultry within the City unless It bears the identification tag issued in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
