AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS REPEALING CERTAIN
SECTIONS OF ARTICLE 237 OF
CHAPTER 23 OF THE REDLANDS
ORDINANCE CODE DEALING WITH
IDENTIFICATION CARDS FOR PAR-
TICULAR BUSINESSES.
Be it ordained by the City Council
of the City of Redlands that the follow-
ing sections of Article 237 of Chapter
23 of the Redlands Ordinance Code en-
acted on the 7th day of June, 1955,
be and the same is hereby repealed:
S e c t i o n 2374, IDENTIFICATION
CARD: CARRYING: FEE. Every per-
son directly engaged in the business
covered by this Article shall carry on
his person at all times while so en-
gaged, a valid identification card, and
shall display said card to any police
officer upon request, which Identifica-
tion card shall be in the form pre-
scribed by the Chief of Police, and
may be obtained from him upon pay-
ment of the sum of $2.50 for such
card.
Section 2374.1 TURNING IN CARD.
Upon revocation of the license under
which said identification card is is-
sued, or termination of employment of
any person holding such card from
the business described herein, the
identification card shall be returned
to the Chief of Police.
Section 2374.2, FALSE IDENTIFI-
CATION CARDS. It is unlawful for
any person to carry an his person, use,
display or have in his possessionany
such identification card containing any
false or fictitious information, or pos-
sess such a card when he is not em-
ployed by any person having a license
under this Article, or himself hold
such a license.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance
shall take effect in 30 days and prior
to fifteen days from the passage hereof
shall be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published to
the City of Redlands, California.

regular meeting thereof, held on the
18th day of June, 1957, by the follow-
ing roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Parker, Ward,
Wilson, and Mayor Lamm,
NOES: None.
