AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 3.74 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO INFORMAL BIDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3.74. 010 of the Redlands Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"3.74.010 Informal Bid Procedures.
All public projects undertaken by the City, as defined by the Uniform Public
Construction Cost Accounting Act, which have a value greater than twenty-five
thousand dollars and less than one hundred thousand dollars may be let by contract
pursuant to the informal bidding procedures set forth in Sections 22030 et seg of the
Public Contract Code, this Chapter and any applicable implementing resolutions
adopted by the City Council."
Section 2.The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this ordinance shall take
effect in accordance with law.
