AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 13 522 OF THE PENAL
CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby ordains as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City of Redlands declare: that it desires to
qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions
of Chapter I of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1, the City
of Redlands while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to
said Chapter I will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training
established by the California Commission on peace Officer Standards and
`raining.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, the newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
SECTION FOUR: Effective Date-. This ordinance shall take effect
and be, in force after its passage as provided by law.
