AST ORDINANCE OF THE CITi OF RL'DlA:ZS FIXING THE RATE AND LV_MNG THE
PROPERTY TAX FOR FISCAL YEAR 1948-49.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
Section 1: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Redlands, California, except that portion of the City included in the Terracina
annex, so called, for the fiscal year 1948-49, a property tax of One Dollar and
Ninety Cents ($1.90) on each one hundred dollar (.;:100.00) of the assessed valua-
tion of such property, apportioned as follows:
Gne Dollar ( ri.OG} for the General Fund:
Twenty Six Cents (w0.26) for the Library Fund;
Twenty Seven Cents ('_; 0.27) for the Retirer:ent Fund:
Fifteen Cents ($0.15) for Redemption and Interest of 7-unicipal Grater "fonds:
Three Certs ($0.03) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Sewer Bonds:
Seventeen & One-Half Cents 00.175) for Rederiptioz and Interest of Redlands
City Water Bonds:
One & One-Half Cents ($0.015) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City
Park Bonds:
Section 2: There is hereby levied upon all taxable proj)erty in that portion of the
City of Redlands commonly called The Terracina annex part of portion thereof, for
the said fiscal year 1948-49, a property tax of One Dollar, Seventy-three &. One-Half
Cents (q?1.735) on each one hundred dollars 01100.00) of the assessed valuation of
smch property, apportioned as follows:
One Dollar (41.00) for the General Fund:
Twenty-six Cents ($0.26) for the Library Fund:
Twenty-seven Cents ($0.27) for the Retirement Fund:
Seventeen n One-half Cents (.;x0.175) for Redemption and Interest of Red-
lands City Water Bonds;
Three Cents ('0.03) for Redemption and Tnterest of Redlands City Sewer Bonds:
Section 3: It is hereby found and determined and declared that this Ordinance is
urgently required for the peace, health and safety in that it is necessary to levy
a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which ordinance and tax there
will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and thie :ordinance
will take effect and be in force immediately after its passage and approval.
