AN ORDINANCE OF 7HE MIT OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE
PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1956 - 1957.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE. There is hereby levied upon all taxable propert-j in the City
=1 _eJTa_n7s_,, Califorr.i.a, for the fiscal year 1956-1957 a property tax of
One Dollar and Forty-Eight Cents ( 1.48) on each Cne Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
of the assessed valuation of such property apportioned as follows:
Ninety Cents ( $ .90) for the General Fund
Twenty-five Cents( .25) for the Library Fund
Twenty-four Cents( .24) for the Retirement Fund
Nine Cents .09) for the Redemption & Interest
of Redlands City. Water Bonds
SECTION TUD. It is hereby found and determined and declared that this
car mance is urgently requ-ired for the peace., health and safety in that it is
necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and iiithout -wtich
there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, Md
this ordinance will take effect and be iii force inmediately after its passage
and approval.
SECTION THREE. The ("ity Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance
ang shall cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts.
