AN OHDINkNCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FLUNG Tn R_PkTE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY
TAX FOR M FISCAL YEAR 1957-1958
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Redlands, California,, except that portion included in Annex No. �, . so called,
for the fiscal year 1957-1958 a property tax of One Dollar and
Cents 31-73) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the a.- -d valuation
oT__s7c_E property apportioned as follows:
Seventy-five Cents .75 for the General Fund
Thirty-two Cents j2 for Park and Recreation
Twenty-siven Cents 27 for the Library Fund
Thirty-one Cents -31 for the Retirement Fund
Eight Cents .08 for the Redemption and Interest
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION ZZO: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in that portion
of the City of Redlands knawn as Annexation No. 4, part or portion thereof, for
the said fiscal year 1957-1958, a property tax of One Dollar, Sixty five Cents
($1.65) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of such
property apportioned as follows;
Seventy-Alive Cents (6.75) for the General Fund
Thirty-twc Cents ( .32) for Park and Recreation
Twenty-seven Cents ( .27) for the Library Fund
Thirty-one Cents ( .31) for the Retirement Fund
SECTION THREE: It is hereby found and declared and determined that this ordinance
is urgently required for the peace, health and safety in that it is necessary to
levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which there will be no
revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this ordinance will
take effect and be inforce i=wdiately after its passage and approval.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance
and shall cause same to be published once in -the Redlands Daily Facts.
