AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RLDLANDS FYxTWG THE RATE AND LEVYING THE
PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1958-1959.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City
of Redlands , California, except those portions included in Annexations
No . 4 , 5 and 6 , so ealled9 for the fiscal year 1958.19.59 a property tax
9XOne Dollar and Eighty-Two Cents $1,.,8'2 on each Ono Hundred Dollars
F3.00of the assessed valuation o such property apportioned as follows :
q ty-eight Cents ( $ .78 for the General. Fund
-three Cents ( X43 for Park and Recreation.
' werty-seven Cents ( . 27 for the Library Fund
Twenty-nine Cents ( .29 for the Retirement Fund
Five Cents ( X05 for the Redemption and Interest
of Redlands City ;pater Bonds
SECTION TWO: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those
portions of the City of Redlands known as Annexations No . 4 , 5 and 6 , part
or portion thereof, for the said fiscal year 1958-1959, a property tax of
One Dollar and Seventy-seven Cents ($1 ,77) on each one hundred dollars
( $150.00) of the assessed valuation of such property apportioned as follows :
Seventy-eight Cents ( $ . 78 for the General Fund
Forty-three Cents ( .43 for Park and Recreation
Twenty--seven Cents ( � 27 for the Library Fund
Twenty-nine Cents ( 029 for the Retirement Fund
SECTION THREE: It is hereby found and declared and determined that this
ordinance is urgently required for the peace , health and safety in that
it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid , and without
which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said
City, and this ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately after
its passage and approval.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance
and shall cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts.
