HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1129_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1129 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1959-1960 The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows.- SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of Redlands, California, except those portions included in Annexations Nos. 4, 5 and 6, so called, for the fiscal year 1959-1960 a property tax on One Dollar and Eighty-eight Cents ($1.88) on each One Hundred Dollars 0100.00) of the assessed value of such property apportioned as f 011ows.- Eighty-one Gents { .81 for the General Fund Forty-five Cents .45 for Park and Recreation Fund Twenty-six Cents .26 for the Library Fund Thirty-one Cents .31 for the Retirement Fund Five Cents .05 for the Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Water Bonds SECTION TWO: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those portions of the City of ReMlamds, California, known as Annexations Nos. 4, 5 and 6, part or portion thereof, for said fiscal year 1959-1960, a property tax of One Dollar and Eightthree Cents ($1.83) on each One Hundred Dollars (ZlOO.00) of the assessed valuation of such property- apportioned as follows: Eighty-one Cents .81 for the General Fund Forty-five Cents -45 for Park and Recreation Fund Twenty-six Cents .26 for the Library Fund TI -L14 rty-one Cents .31 for the Retirement Fund SECTION THREE: It is hereby found and declared and determined that this ordinance is urgently required for the peace, health and safety in that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately after its passage and approval. SECTION FOUR.- The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts.
