AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1960 - 1961
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS°
SECTION ONE: There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of Redlands,
California, except those portions included in Annexations Nos, 4, 5, 6 and 7, so
called, .for the fiscal year 1.960-1961 a property tax of One Dollar and Eighty-Five
Cents (1085) on each One Hundred Dollars (°$100,00) of the assessed value of such
property apportioned as follows-
Eighty-one Cents ( ,81 for the General Fund
Forty-five Cents ( 045 for Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-five Cents { X25 for the Library Fund
Twenty-eight Cents ( ,28 for the Retirement Fund
Six Cents ( ,06 for the Redemption and Interest
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION TWm There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those portions of
the City of Redlands,, California, known as Annexations Nos, 4,, 59 6 and 7, part or
portion thereof,, for said fiscal year 1960-1961.,9 a property tax of One Dollar and
Seventy-nine Cents ($1079) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100000) of �e assess°
value of suc property apportioned as follows-,
Eighty- one Cents ( $ ,81 for the General Fund
Forty-five Cents { .45 for Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-five Cents ( 025 for the Library Fund
Twenty-eight Cents ( ,28 for the Retirement Fund
SECTION THREEy It is hereby found and declared and determined that this ordinance
isurgent y required for the peace., health and safety in that it is necessary to
levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which there will be no
revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this ordinance will take
effect and be in force immediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION FOUR- The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and
