AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1,961 - 1962
IEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION ONE: There is hereby :levied upon all taxable property in the City of
Redlands., ;;liforniaj except those portions included in Annexations Nos.
41 51 6, 7 and 9q so called, for the fiscal year 1961-1962 a property tax of
One Dollar and Eighty—five Cents tLL51 on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
of the assessed value of such property apportioned as follows:
Eighty-four Cents .84 for the General Fund
Forty-five Cents .45 for Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-three and
one-half Cents .235 for the Library Fund
Twenty-eight Cents .28 for the Retirement Fund
Four and one-half
Cents .045 for the Redemption and Interest
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION TWO.- There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in those portions
of the City of Redlandsq California., known as Annexations Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9,
part or portion thereof, for said fiscal year 1961-1962, a property tax of
One Dollar and Eighty and one-half Cents ($1.805) on each One Hundred Dollars
(M-T.70-Tof the assesseT77allue of such property approtioned as follows-
Eighty-four Cents .84 for the General Fund
Forty-five Cents .45 for the Park and Recreation Fund
Twenty-three and
one-half Cents .235 for the Ii-brary Fund
Twenty-eight Cents .28 for the Retirement Fund
SECTION THREE: It is hereby found and declared and determined that this ordinance
is urgently required for the peace, health and safety in that it is necessary to
levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which there will be no
revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this ordinance will take
effect and be in force immediately after its passage and approval.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and
gh-all cause same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts.
