HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_0917_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 917 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1950-51 The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows : Section One. There is hereby levied upon all taxable proper TY1_n_FH_e_7ity of Redlands, California, except that portion of the City included in the Terracina Annex,, so called, for the fiscal year 1950-51, a property tax of One Dollar and Eighty-five Cents ($1.85) on each one hundred dollars (0100.00) of the assessed valuation-of such property apportioned as follows -. Ninety-Three Cents 00.93) for the General Fund.- Twenty-Six Cents (00.26) for the Library Fund* Thirty-Six Cents 00,36) for the Retirement Fund; Eleven Cents ($0.11) for the Redemption and Interest of Municipal Water Bonds : Three Cents ($0,03) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Sewer Bonds ; Fifteen Cents ($0.15) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Water Bonds: One Cent ($0.01) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Park Bonds : Section Two: There is hereby levied upon all taxable properT_yTn_7=aportion of the City of Redlands commonly called The Terracina Annex part of portion thereof, for the said fiscal year 1950-51, a property tax of One Dollar, Seventy-Three Cents ($1.73) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of such property, apportioned as follows : Ninety-Three Cents ($0.93) for the General Fund: Twenty-Six Cents (00,26) for the Library Fund: Thirty-Six Cents (00*36) for the Retirement Fund: Fifteen Cents ($0.15) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Water Bonds : Three Cents ($OoO3) for Redemption and Interest of Redlands City Sewer Bonds -, Section Three : It is hereby found and determined and declare d that ETH_sOrdinance is urgently required for the peace,, health and safety In that it is necessary to levy a valid tax for the purpose aforesaid, and without which ordinance and tax there will be no revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said Citys and this Ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately after its passage and approval.
