AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING
THE PROPERTY TAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1954-1955
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property
In de Cog of Redlands, California, for t ie fiscal year 1954-
1955 a property tax of One Dollar and Seventy Cents (1.70) on
each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of
such property apportioned as follows :
One Dollar ($1.00) for the General Fund
Twenty-nine Cents ( .29) for the Library Fund
Thirty Cents ( .30) for the Retirement Fund
Eleven Cents ( ,11) for the Redemption and Interest
of Redlands City Water Bonds
SECTION TWO. It is hereby found and determined and declared that
Esis or nance is urgently required f orthe peace, health and
safety in that it is necessary to levy a valid tag for the purpose
aforesaid, and without which ordinance and tax there will be no
revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this
Ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately after its
passage and approval.
SECTION THREE. The City Clark shall certify to the passage of
Ord nance and shall cause same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts.
