AN ORDINANCE OF '1 rt 'ITY OF REDLANDS FI]CING `TIE RAT-0 AND LEVYING
TIMI PROPERTY TAX FOR IHE :''I CAL YEAR 1949-50.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as
follows:
Section One. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property
in the City of `;Redlands, California, except that portion of the City
included in the Terracina Uinex, so called, for the fiscal year 1949-
50, a property 'tax of One Dollar and Eight .dive Cents kP-1.85 ) on
each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation of such
property apportioned as follows:
Ninety-Six cents ( ,0.96) for the General Fund,
Twenty-Eight Cents (40.28) for the Library Yund:
Twenty-Nine Cents (40.29) for the Retirement Fund:
Twelve Cents (W.12) for Redemption and Interest of
liunioipal *4ater Bonds:
Three and One-Half Cents (40.035) for Redemption and
Interest of Redlands City Sewer Bonds:
Fifteen Cents (40-15) for Redemption and Interest of
Redlands City 'Water Bonds:
One and One-Half Cents 06-015) for Redemption and
Interest of Redlands City Park Bonds:
Section IiNkio: There is hereby levied upon all taxable

Section Three: It is hereby found and determined and declared
that th"il-s=r=nan�ce is urgently rencuired for the peace, health and
safety in that it is necessary to fevy a valid tax for the purpose
aforesaid, and without iihich ordinance and tax there will be no
revenue or funds to defray the expenses of said City, and this
Ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately after its
pasoage and approval.
