An ordinaneeAamending Subdivisions 26,# 35 and 36 Of Section of
ordinance Number 362, providing for licensing certain Xinds of 'business
and fixing a license fee therefor.
The Board of jrustees of the City of Redlands do ordainas follows**
Se do 1* Subdivision 26 of section of ordinance number 362 is
hereby amended to read as follows*.-
For every auotioneer or person 'engaged in the auctioning of goods,, wares,
merchandiset $5.00 per day, provided this provision shall not apply
to auctioneers auctioning the goods, wares vemerchandise of a licensed
iaerchwrt having maintained a permanent and fixed place of business in
said oit,.tr,,' fqr not less than six months prior to such auction sale, or to
the auctioning of household goods or farming implements at the residence
of the twiner thereof.
Section 2,- That subdivision number 35 of section of Ordinance No
362 be amended, to read as follows**-
sixbdivlsion *. 35. Every pe-.mon who all opent establisht inanagejOr
have charge of a place of businesspf any kind for the sale of goodst
wares or merehandise at auction; or every itinerant or transient merchant
selling or offering for sale any goodst wares* or mexchandis6; dr every
peddler, hawkert or other person, other than a lit ensed merchant doing
busineow in said city selling or offering for sale or solioiting orders
for the sale of any goodst wares, merchandise, by samples or otherwise
to persons not regularly engaged in the carrying on such lines of
business, $15,00 per day; providedt this subdivision shall not apply
to the selling or soliciting of orders for the sale of fruitst vegetables
or farm products.- nor to the sale of goods, wares or i,,aerohandise at
auction by a lion merchant having maintained a permanent and fixed
place of business in said city for not less than six monthprior to
such auction sale.

offering for sale a bankrupt stock of goods* wares or merchandise of any
kind not having a lieense under other p:rovisions of this oxdinanae to
