7 The Board of Trustees of the City of Redltu-ids do ordain as
8 follows:

9 Section 1. Every person who within the City of Redlands, C
io establishes or keeps a place Where spirituous, vinous, malt or
11 mixed liquors are furnished, sold, di..stributed., delivered or given
12 away, or who, within' a4id City, either as owner, amployea, gent,
e or.'o��e wise , 'furniahes, sells, delivers, distributes, or gives

-ki . or more of such liquors, except for thepurposes
� �e.i� ► fled, shall be ,uilty of a misdemeanor; and. every per-

by himself, or by association with others, establishingor
. keeping a place where spirituous, vinous, malt or mixed liquors dre

is sold , divided, delivered, distributed or given aw ay, to i.,embero of
19 such association, or to others, sha.1l be deamed guilty of a misde-
20 manor.
21 Wary act in violation of this Section or in violation of
22 the next 8ucceedi4, Section, shall separately, or for each day of
28 its continuance, be deemed a separate offense.
24 The prohibitions of this Ordinance shall not apply to the
26 sale of liquors for bona fide m- dicid purposes , by a regularly ii-
26 canoed druist, upon the prescription of a. physician, entitled to
27 practice medicine under the laws of the State of Ca1 ifornia, pro-
vided, however, that said prescription shall be sira*d*&4 and.

3 scriptions shall be numbered and kept in regular succession by the
4 (1 st furni shi ng thereon, cn a separate file convenient for a

Section 5. It is and shall be the duty of the City
