AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 9.24
OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING A JUVENILE
CURFEW DURING THE CITY'S SPONSORED "MARKET NIGHT"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section I. Section 9.24.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code entitled "Definitions" is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"9.24.010 Definitions.
For purposes of this Chapter, the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them:
"Curfew Hours" means:
A. The period from 10:00 p.m. any evening of the week, until 6:00 a.m. the following
day, except as provided in subsection "B" of this section.
B. The period from 5:00 P.M. on the evening of the City's sponsored Market Night, until
6:00 A.M. the following day, within the Market Night Outdoor Area and all public
property located within twenty feet of the Market Night Outdoor Area. For purposes
of this Chapter, the Market Night Outdoor Area is defined as the geographical area
bounded by Citrus Avenue on the south, Eureka Street on the west, Redlands
Boulevard on the north and Redlands Boulevard on the east.
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this
ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
