AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLA.NDS RELATED TO EXPENDITURE
LIMITATIONS FOR MEASURE "0" - OPEN SPACE AND PARK LAND ACQUISITION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDL.A.NDS does ordain:
SEC"I'ION 1 . This section sets forth the maximum allocated amounts
in terms of percentage relative to the acquisition of lands as stated
in the language of Measure "0" - Open Space and Park Land Acquisition.
The percentages are as follows:
Land for Open Space at Major Entrances to the City. . . . . . . 9%
Citrus Preservation. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 25%
Preservation of Large Natural Areas. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 17#
A Strip Park With Related Trails Following the Zanja. . . . . 12%
Land for Expanded Park and Recreation Spaces. . . . . . . . . . . . . 23%
Land for a Sports Complex, Golf Course, and a
Swim Complex. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 14%
SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall take effect upon passage of
Measure "0" on the November 3 , 1987 ballot.
SECTION 3 . The Strategic Planning Committee/Open Space
Committtee, a recognized committee of the City of Redlands Parks
Commission, shall review and make recommendations on all land
acTiisitions to the Parks Commission and City Council of the City of
Redlands.
SECTION 4 . Recommendations for acquisition to the City Council
shall be in conformance to Section 1 of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the
Redlands Dail Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and

foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of November, 1987 by the following
vote:
