AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AMENDING SECTION 37411 OF THE
REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
SECTION ONE : Section 37411 of the Redlands Ordinance
Code is hereby amended to read as follows :
37411 . VACANCIES AND SUBLEASES . Upon a change in
tenancy or a sublease of a rental space within an affected
park , the park owner may immediately increase the rent appli -
cable to the space occupied by the new tenant or sublease ,
provided that the rental increase shall not be greater than
10% above the rent applicable to that space immediately prior
to the change in tenancy or sublease , and further provided
that another such increase shall not be permitted for any other
change in tenancy or sublease for that space within the next
subsequent 12 months . A rental increase imposed pursuant to
this section shall be in addition to any other increase per-
mitted by this article . The park owner shall notify the city
within 10 days of any rent adjustment pursuant to this section .
SECTION TWO : Twelve months after the effective date
of this ordinance , the City Council shall again review this
amendment of the City ' s Mobilehome Park Rent Stabilization
Ordinance to determine whether the amendment has impaired the
sale of mobiiehomes within affected narks . If so , the City
Council will consider repeal of the amendment .
SECTION THREE : This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect as provided by law .
SECTION FOUR : The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it , or a summary of it ,
to be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in this city .
