HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2007_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2007 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING ARTICLE 940 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE AND ORDINANCES NO. 1843 AND 1891 WHICH IMPLEMENTED THE INITIATIVE ORDINANCE TO MODERATE GROWTH WITHIN THE CITY OF REDLANDS TO PRESERVE THE CITY' S UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT AND CHARACTER THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: That Article 940 of the Redlands Ordinance Code be amended as follows: "E. ALLOCATION At a public meeting, the City Council shall evaluate all recommended point assignments, hear from the applicant and the general public if requested, and award the development allocations pursuant to this ordinance. Project receiving 90 points will be considered for awards, with higher priority being given to projects with higher point values. A maximum of 35 development allocations may be awarded to any project in any single allocation period, unless this limit and the total successful applications results in less than the scheduled number of development allocations being awarded. If the latter occurs, the excess allocations may be awarded to successful projects applying for more than 35 allocations. The decision of the City Council on develop- ment allocation awards is final. " SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this city.
