of two tracts of land for building sites for the erection of fire
halls, together with the erection and construction of a fire hall
upon each of such tracts and acquiring necessary fire apparatus
the re f or .
The Board of Tnistees of the City of Redlands do ordain as
follows:
Section 1: That it has been determined and declared that txk
tho public interest and necessity of the munioipalitg of the
City of Redlands and of the inhabitants thereof deuands the
aoga is i tion and oo nst m otion by said cit y of certai n munioip&1Jd in
improvements,said deterut nttlon was made by the board of trustees
of said city(being the legislative branch the Ye of) at an adjourn-
ed regular meeting of said board duly held on the . .v�n3. day of
December,1904,by a resolution duly passed by said board by a
vote of more than tvo thirds of all its members, i d approved by
the president of said board,he bei ng the executive of said
municipality. Said proposed municipal improvements, and also
the objects and purposes for Which an indebtedre ss of said city is
proposed to be incurred are here byde cl are d to be as in s ai d
resolution set for th, as fo llows,to wit :

upon each of such tracts for municipal uses, and the acciuisition
of reoessary fire apparatus therefor.

of furitishing to sat-d city and the inhabitants thereof better
fire protection. That the acquisition and constmotion of the
saLd municipel improvenents are necessary and convenient to
carry out the objects and purposes and powers of said municipality
and that the aDst thereof will be too great to be paid out of the
ordinary annual xWx@m=x income and revenue of said municipality,
Wat the estimated cost of said municipal impeovements is
the aim of $17,000. That it is hereby dete=dned and declared
that it is the purpose and iniention of the legislative branch
of the governnent of sftd city of Redlands to teke prooeedings for
the acquisition and construction by said city of said municipal
improvements at the exist of $17,000. ,in lawful money of the Unit-
ed States,erA to incur an indebtedness in said sum by the issuance
of the bonds of seal city for that purpose to the said amount of
$17,000. 4
Section 2. A special election is hereby calledto be held
in said city on the 1417;.day of . . . .ve3:o1a. . . . . . 1906, at which
sit- d special election there will be and hereby is subnitted to
the qualified voters of setd city,to be voted on at such election
the following proposition ,to wit :
The proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of said city
in the sum of $17,000. ,principal sum,with interest thereon at

time of fixing the general tax levy and in the re neer of such
