AN ORDINANCE CE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 13 .68
CP THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH SOLID WASTE
DISPOSAL AND LITTER CONTROL FEES
WHEREAS, the City Council is empowered under Health and
Safety Code Section 5471 to charge for the prevision of sanitation
collection and control services; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the rates for
solid waste: disposal services should be adjusted to account for
changes in the cast of providing such services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council- has determined that a fitter
control fee should be established to maintain the neat and clean
appearance of the City; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance has been adopted by a two-thirds
majority vote of the City Council pursuant to Health; and Safety
Cade Section 5471;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redlands
saes ordain:
Section 1. Table 1 . 5.02 5 of the: Redlands Municipal Cede
is hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit "A" , attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in farce and shall take
effect as provided for by late.
Section 4 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published
once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a> newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the. City.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of January,
1990.
