AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTERS
18.84 AND 18.88 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
OPERATING HOURS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD STORES DISTRICT AND
NEIGHBORHOOD CONVENIENCE CENTER DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Sections 18.84.190 and 18.88.270 of the Redlands
Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 18.84.190 Storage, lighting, facilities and noise control.
For storage, lighting, facilities and noise in the C-1, Neighborhood
Stores, District the provisions of Sections 18.88.120 through
18.88.290 shall apply.,"
"SECTION 18.88.270 Hours for Certain Activities
In the C-2, Neighborhood Convenience Center, District no
commercial activity is permitted between the hours of ten p.m. and
six a.m., and no loading activity permitted between the hours of six
p.m. and six a.m.; provided, however, such activities may be
extended subject to the approval of a Conditional Use Permit by the
Planning Commission."
SECTION TWO: Section 18.84.220 is hereby added to the Redlands
Municipal Code to read as follows:
"SECTION 18.84.220 Hours for Certain Activities
In the C-1, Neighborhood Stores, District no commercial activity is
permitted between the hours of ten p.m. and six a.m., and no
loading activity shall be permitted between the hours of six p.rn. and
six a.m.; provided, however such hours may be extended subject to
the approval of a Conditional Use Permit from the Planning
Commission."
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
