HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_0778_CCv0001.pdf ZT Ordinance No. An Ordinance Prohibiting the Keeping of Dogs Within The City of Redlands in Excess of Three The City Council of the City of Redlands, San Bernardino County, California, does ordain as follows: Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person or persons or firm or corporation to keep within the corporate limits of the City of Redlands to exceed three dogs, any one of which is three months or more in age, without first obtaining from the City Council of the City of Redlands special permission therefor. Permission to keep more than three dogs may be revoked at any time for cause shown. Section 2: Any person or persons , firm or corporation, violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and -upon conviction thereof., shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.00) for each dog kept in violation of said ordinance, the total fine to not exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment, and every day during which the violation of this ordinance shall continue shall be considered as constituting a. new and separate offence and shall be punishable as above provided. Section 340 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the publication. and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation — .
